I don't know if you know it or not, but I own a Christmas tree farm. A newer tradition I've been doing each year for Christmas tree selling season is to grow a beard. It keeps me warm, and it's fun.
Here is a picture of my beard after about 3 1/2 weeks growth.
It still has a while to go until full beardness.

I hope to have a full, fluffy General Stonewall Jackson style beard by Christmas.
